Korean Traditional Medicine

The origin of Korean Traditional Medicine traces back to 3000 B.C and it is traditional East Asian medicine. Korean traditional medicine is mostly associated with the Chinese traditional medicine and Japanese traditional medicine. The Korean Traditional medicine emphasizes that the balance between the mind and body is the key requirement to maintain good health. The prescription of herbal medicine and acupuncture treatment are provided to the patients based on the body type of each person. The method of diagnosis in Korean traditional medicine is done by pulse diagnosis, tongue and facial inspection and extensive questioning. Traditional Korean medicine is proved to be effective treatment procedure for patients with lumbar spinal stenosis.  There are three treatment methods followed in traditional Korean medicine.
